On the afternoon of September 18th, a delegation headed by Prof. Scott Billingsley, Vice Chancellor from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, USA, visited Guizhou University. A meeting was held by Vice President Zhou Shaoqi in Room 202 of Xianzheng Building, attended by the representatives of Office of Academician, Office of International Relations, Graduate School, College of Big Data and Information Engineering, and College of Foreign Languages.
Zhou extended a warm welcome to Scott Billingsley and the delegation, and gave an introduction to founding principles, campus culture, and international educational initiatives of GZU. Zhou expressed the hope for the establishment of a robust academic exchange and cooperation platform between UNC and GZU, emphasizing collaborative efforts and expanding the cooperation, to lay a solid foundation for deeper partnership in the future.
Scott Billingsley hoped to deepen cooperation between both sides through initiatives such as faculty and student exchange, to foster mutual development and achieve a win-win partnership.
