On October 9th, a delegation headed by Prof. Abdalla Zeineldin , Dean of College of Agriculture of the Alexander University, Egypt visited Guizhou University. A meeting was held attended by representatives from the Office of International Relations, College of Agriculture, College of Computer Science, College of Animal Science, Center for Research and Development of Fine Chemicals.
The meeting was hosted by Prof.Hong Yun, director of the Office of International Relations. She extended warm welcome to all delegates and gave a brief introduction to the international exchanges and collaborations of Guizhou University in recent years as well as a review of the collaboration between Guizhou University and Alexander University. Prof.Abdalla expressed his gratitude for the hospitality he received at Guizhou University, and he spoke highly of the teaching effects on the Training Class on New Modern Agricultural Technology for China and African Countries under the Background of “Belt and Road Initiative” delivered by teachers from Guizhou University in June. He hoped that this visit would generate more collaborations between two sides in a wider range of areas.
Both sides exchanged ideas on collaborations regarding faculty mobility, student exchange and joint-degree programs etc.
