Delegation from Swansea University Visits GZU

On March 6^th, a delegation headed by James Holness, Dean of International Partnerships and Program Management of Swansea University visited Guizhou University for sino-foreign cooperation in education.

        The meeting was held by Vice President Zhang Qin, and was attended by representatives from Office of Academician, Office of Recruitment and Employment, Office of Finance, Office of International Relations, College of Civil Engineering, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Material and Metallurgy, and Space Structures Research Center.

        Zhang extended welcome to all delegates, adding that GZU attaches great importance to internationalization, during which process the joint nurture of students has a key role to play. She hoped that this visit would be a good opportunity for further cooperation and future application.

    James replied with his wish for bilateral cooperation. He indicated that enduring efforts have been made since last November, and this visit would produce fruitful results since many details have been discussed.

    By discussing topics concerning the scale of recruitment, the way of cooperation, and the arrangement of discipline, exchanges about major plans have been accomplished.
