To improve GZU’s TCSL, and to train more teachers for international Chinese education, College of International Education invited Prof. Ji Jianguo to GZU to offer professional guidance and training to those GZU teachers who are interested in TCSL. 2. About Prof. Ji Jianguo

Ji Jianguo, doctor of cross cultures and applied linguistics, graduated from Columbia University, and winner of Anthony J. Papalia Award, now works as a visiting professor at Columbia University and professor and director at City University , U.S. for the Training Program for Chinese Teacher Certificate. He is also a director of The Association of Chinese Professors of Social Sciences (ACPSS) and of The Chinese Language Teachers Association of Greater New York (CLTA-GNY), and a member of The American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) and of Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language. Engaged in teaching and research of literature and culture of second language for a long period, Mr. Ji works as a visiting professor at a number of American and Chinese institutions of higher learning for training teachers of English and TCSL.

1) A sign-in is required for each lecture.

2) Participation and interaction in class discussion are welcome

3) Those who once worked, are still working, or will work in the near future as TCSL teachers, please attend the lectures.
