On Application of Elective Course Designs for GZU International Students

To improve GZU’s TCSL quality and the Chinese comprehensive ability of GZU international students, College of International Education decided to offer to GZU international students such courses as Learning Chinese by Listening to Songs, Taiji, Introduction to Chinese Food and Culture, Learning Chinese Idioms with Fun, Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Culture, and Reading of Confucian Classics. Each of the eight courses is conducted for one semester, with 36 hours of classes in total. We are now collecting the course designs of the above courses. Those who are interested in taking any of the courses, please submit application materials including Course Design to us. CIE will organize experts to carefully examine and evaluate the materials handed in. Once they are approved, the College will support them. Those teachers selected for conducting the courses will be paid for their teaching according to GZU regulations on teaching fee. Please refer to the Attachment for the application requirements.
