SUT Group Visited GZU

    

President Chen Shuping met a delegation headed by Dr. Prapun Manyum in his office, Dean of College of Science, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand on the morning of April 6.

 

President Chen began with a brief review of the cooperation between GZU and Suranaree University of Technology. He hoped that both universities could further strengthen cooperation, and gradually expand to the areas of cooperation. President Chen hoped that professors and experts from both universities could work together for funding, and areas of mutual interest in scientific cooperation. He also said that China and ASEAN countries had an increasingly close cooperation and carried out many projects, and he hoped experts from the two universities could seek cooperation in that context. Finally, President Chen asked Dr. Prapun Manyum to send his regards to the president of SUT, and invited him to attend the fourth China-ASEAN Educational Cooperation Week held in GZU later this year.

 

Dr. Prapun Manyum expressed his gratitude to President Chen’s warm reception. He said that current cooperation programs mainly focused on foreign languages and agriculture, and he hoped the cooperation could be extended to more other areas and fields of research, and more young teachers from GZU would apply for a scholarship at STU for their degree study.
